The real-estate agent’s name was Tandy Pruitt. She drove a candy apple red BMW, and looked really snappy in her gold blazer, with her dark hair worn in a pile at the back, held in place by a shiny gold clip. The process, after things were in motion, went remarkably quickly. The Wyrd was really working overtime since Less’s contacts were able to find the birth certificate of a “Simon Daniel Beal” who would be about Simon’s age, but who had died minutes after birth in a town in Iowa that had subsequently been destroyed in a freak windstorm some years ago. So that information would be pretty hard to uncover unless you were looking, and the Wardens of the Bleak Seal promised to make it more difficult still. – Shared Hollow: In progress
Mizuko offered her own Hollow, which we’re expanding. Figuring out what we need, what we want, and what we can actually do has been interesting (and by “interesting,” I mean “made me want to tear out my hair sometimes.”) We’re going to have enough space for everybody, and for Rover’s room full of junk and tools. It’s going to be pretty primative, at least for now. We just don’t have time to try to dig a septic system or go hunting for useful tokens that would make it more homey.
