A few words of exlpination:

I learned today that Dustin and I had different conceptions of what Li’s tattoos looked like.  He was visualizing a single dragon in a simple black style, similar to the image on the character sheet.  I was imagining a more complex design in color, with mysterious lines of Chinese characters, and lesser dragons on Li’s arms and legs.  Since he’s the GM, we’re going with his vision. 🙂

(Really, it’s because he has actual plot related to his version, and my version would muck up the plot)

However, this cover was drawn before I found that out, and I’ll be damned if I’m doing it again.  The GIMP text tool is a pain in the ass, and I only save the finished covers as .png files.

A further note: this is one of at least two covers.  I’m working on one for Brigid right now.  It (loosely) illustrates events that happen chronologically before Li goes off to drown in the Colorado River, but I finished Li’s first, so I’m posting it first.

I’ll do more as the inspiration strikes me.
