Arcanum does have a currency system that it uses to manage what is purchasable. Essentially it looks to be standard gold coins but is stamped with the Arcanum seal and labeled as ‘Zoryns’, named so for the lone Prince of Arcanum, Zoryn Karedric, who is now missing in action. All players will automatically have an account with the Arcanum Bank and Trust and their totals will be displayed below:
All New Players will be provided with a starting amount of Zoryns. This is not considered a loan.
Loans: All loans will be managed in roleplay and will depend on a diplomatic roll determined by a moderator or by Kinjita. The difficulty of the dice roll will be dependent on the amount requested. All loan amounts when settled are final and must be repaid at a 10% interest rate.
Earning Zoryns: Aside from trades between players, combat events will yield an amount of Zoryns based on the number of kills and the amount will be divided evenly among attending players. Amounts will be determined by the moderator in charge of the event or by Kinjita.
