Take a look at the following rules to guide what you can and cannot do in role-play.
1) You can RP however you want. Just understand there will be consequences for your actions.
You may RP the most disrespectful smuggler you want to. If you find yourself court-martialed, not moving up in rank, or just plain not accepted into the organization, then think about changing that attitude IC! It’s possible that during RP, you could even be kicked from the Organization!! What sense would it make for an organization to keep someone who just never fits in? This would be a natural consequence to your own actions, and kicking would in no way be meant personally.
2) You CAN threaten others, fight others, attempt to kill others, as well as any other devious activity, but again, there WILL be consequences for your actions.
You can RP Mr. high and mighty assassin who thinks he’s the best thing in the world and makes a huge effort to make sure everyone knows! While there are different factions within the guild, the theme is, they work together! Duty to Vanquished Illusions trumps all other relationships. That doesn’t mean incidents wont happen in the spirit of RP. We actually WANT some drama. Just know that the consequences will match the crime. For example….spitting on another guild member and plain disrespect could warrant a stern talking to by your officers, and possibly the inability to move up in rank. Another example: You decide to get crazy and try to murder one of the Jedi. Well, get ready to stand trial and be sentenced to whatever punishment the High Council and Magisters decide. Be it in-character expulsion from the Order or a few days in prison.
3) You can become a dark jedi — or even sith — and RP your path to redemption!
This gives you the chance to RP a character with the redemption story Arc. Feel free to RP it. You won’t be penalized for doing so. But don’t be surprised if IC’ly people are hesitant to trust you.
