NPCDescription
AmandineVictim of Push found in a Wineport warehouse, bound and chained to a shelf near Raena. She was freed when Siroh found Raena. Friend of Raena’s from her Arcanist’s class.
Arno de RionneHeir to the viscounty of Rionne, Arno is best described as a, ‘Lovable friendly ox’ on the surface. Momentary ally to Raena at Sanni’s symposium, having surrendered his black invitation to give her the chance at killing Sanni. A bit of an odd duck, he was surprisingly apt when it came to intuiting exactly what Raena was doing and her intentions once given the hint. Disappeared after the party. Theoretically, his holdings are in Eastern Coerthas, a place somewhat spared the frosty treatment of the central and western highlands
Ashe MarloweA slender Limsan thief that brought a strange, pronged “knife”-like object to Raena. He got her name and address from a mysterious third party whose name and details Ash didn’t know because stole the item and its case.
AtroniusThe voidsent-box that guarded a thing for us. We think. It’s been a hot minute.
The BartenderAn enigmatic figure that tends an equally enigmatic bar that can be only found by invitation. Raena has twice visited him, gaining knowledge and a way forward – but in exchange she owes a debt to fill a special lantern with memories.
“Delve into that bondage; degrade yourself, and allow yourself to fall. It is through that light that you will truly thrive.” In this way, the Bartender said, Raena might reach my greatest potential as a shinobi and slave to her master’s will.
Clara and Trina DaelRaena’s sisters. They did not share the same father as Raena. Raena doesn’t know. Their father disappeared after a visit in which he attempted to rape Raena. Lorna stated strongly he would not be seen again.
Calerriel PidduckAdventurer for hire. Female Raen from Doma. But she’s been in Eorzea for 10 years and speaks with no accent. She has a particular dislike for criminals and criminal organizations and takes particular pleasure in helping to take them down.
Guila IronbrowTalented blacksmith in Kugane. She made Raena’s current favorite blades.
H’iriafrom House de Reinteaux. Works 4 days/week for Veiled for good pay.
HotaruName given to Raena by the Madame Rivers-Found that means, “firefly”.
HayamiA brunette with brown hair, brown eyes, and marks at the corners of her eyes. It means something as it is a social status indicator. She’s pretty enough, but perhaps a little on the thin side.
KazuoFearless right hand of House Hayashi; Samurai of formidable skill; A dry-humored fatalist Highlander
Kuma’raClara and Trina’s father. ‘Nuff said.
KuroA contact among the Tekiya-kai known to Siroh’a; An icy negotiator
L’isiraMiqo’te mate aboard the Clumsy Karakul. Raena made a good impression, perhaps a friend with her. Raena is known to L’isira as Maureen Seakeep
Lorna DaelRarely referred to by name, at least by her daughters. “Mother” is Raena’s mother, who dropped strong hints as to a rather illustrious lineage. Claims her mother disappeared after the battle of Carteneau. She knew her mother was called Fina.
The Madame of Rivers-FoundThe current leader and representative of the Tekiya-kai. Mysterious, elegant, not someone who typically makes a physical appearance– and, yet, has twice for Raena both in Kugane and in the Rozenthorne. She is a major investor in the brothel unbeknownst to most. Inducted Raena partially into the Tekiya-kai, claiming her by way of giving her a name (Hotaru). This name explicitly came without expectations, and was used to fulfill her end of a bargain. It is by this grace that Raena is allowed to meander unhindered in the criminal underbelly of Hingashi to some degree.
Lord Masaru KitaMaster of a powerful trading house; Fiercely ambitious and greedy
Maureen SeakeepIdentity assumed by Raena when she investigated shipments at the north port in La Noscea
NenebaruLalafel brass blade. Quite helpful, seems all for cleaning up criminal activity.
The NightbloomsOne of the gangs selling Push. Did they make a variant?
Osha’liLorna mentioned this only once and very quickly. This is Raena’s actual father. None has met him, who are aware of it.
Rin Kinoshita, “Sakura”Raena aided her by helping her business get set up under the umbrella of The Rozenthorne in Limsa Lominsa. Sakura provided two locations where Master Sanni had been seen, or was associated with. Sakura’s business is named, the Ruby Muse
Samson Fairfaxmate from a large ship that is associated with the Yedlihmad Merchant’s Association. He bribed a Yellowjacket, and his ship travels consistently to La Noscea from Thavnair
SasanamiLovely raen. Directed us to a warehouse deep beneath the Ruby Sea. Here Raena met perhaps her most harrowing near-defeat by henchmen in Sanni’s employ. But Sasanami was quite cooperative, and apparently unaware of the illicit nature of what was stored in that warehouse
SeleneMerchant from the north docks in La Noscea
Master ShanniMaster Sanni’s original name until somehow the “h” was dropped. 😀
SilkUl’dahn assassin for hire, known personally by Siroh’a from his time in the city. Precise, and mortifyingly skilled, Silk is a woman best characterized by shifting mortality. Siroh’a has described her as, “someone to whom your relationship is reset each time you see her” but she, apparently, has a particular interest in the two Miqo’te. In battle, she is sadistic and works herself into a joyous, bubbling rage.
SoutaRunner for a crime syndicate (Yellow Rose Syndicate) operating out of Kugane but with tendrils in Rads-at-Han, Ul’dah, Kugane, and Djoma. Souta was spotted in Ul’dah’s Goblet, residential district. Midlander, late twenties, blue eyes, dark brown hair. Eastern look, hingan dress. Souta has contacts in the following locations within Ul’dah and surrounding area: Pearl Lane, Stonesthrow (Thanalan, Black Brush Station (Thanalan), and Lost Hope (Thanalan).
Tekiya-kaiThe Peddler’s Society, in the common tongue, is a well-known and strictly strange Yakuza clan out of Hingashi-proper. Largely an internal organization, they are well known for, historically, traversing the riverways, dealing with mercantile pursuits from the back of rafts or barges. They’ve, traditionally, served the roles of fences and fixers, taking a very neutral approach to the underground politics of the country, with few outward facing tendrils until recently. Their move into Kugane, filling the vacuum left by Sanni’s organization and the powers- that-be that supported him, was seen as unprecedented, but largely uncontestable. No one moves against them, not because they are a massive threat, but because every Yakuza organization can count them as neutral.
Content Notes:
– They’ve always been led by a Madame of Rivers-Found. Thought to be an inherited title.
– Recently expanded out into La Noscea as a result of Raena’s actions.
– Known for even deals, and no strings attached. Everything is presented up front, and their needs/requests are often inscrutable, or even odd.
