The Jedi Order

Effective immediately the Orders of Sentinel, Guardians, Counselors, & Lir’rtan will cease to be separate entities. These sects will be folded together to simply become The Jedi Order. The purpose in this is to close gaps which have been keeping the Order separated. Those who once lead these sects and ANY Jedi of Archon rank or higher will become members of the Jedi council. This includes Light, Dark, & Grey Jedi.

Instead of 1 central leader of the Jedi Order Layania will be referred to as the Voice of the Jedi Order. Her purpose is to voice the decisions of the Jedi Council while maintaining the philosophies and principles of both the Jedi and the Guild.
Kinjita will also act as Voice of the Jedi Order working to maintain the same purpose as Layania. Authority of the Order will be held by the Jedi Council and any Council member may act if required on lesser but immediate issues.

The Jedi Council will act as Leadership for the Jedi Order. Those Jedi who show interest and activity in the Order, via attending events and meetings, submitting ideas, following the Jedi policies, etc will be considered for promotion and admittance into the Jedi Council.

Council Meetings will meet BI-Weekly during Jedi Event nights to discuss concerns, policies, and any major issues requiring the Councils attention. Any Jedi regardless of rank is welcome to attend Jedi Council meetings.
Here they may submit ideas and or concerns to the Council, however only council members are permitted to deliberate and vote on issues and policy making. Decisions made by the Council will be decided by Majority vote. In the event of an even numbered Council session Layania will abstain her vote as to prevent gridlock in the voting process. Once a matter has been decided it will be closed. Those Jedi unable to attend a Council meeting may attend via “Holocall”. What this means is that they can submit their concerns, ideas to another member of the Jedi Council who will speak on their behalf at the meeting. Attendance to the Council meetings is not required, however this is the only opportunity in which you can have your voice heard or be apart of the decision making process. As stated once a decision has been made the matter will be closed.

Jedi Events may be created and run by any Jedi of Knight rank or higher. Event ideas can be submitted by any Jedi regardless of rank. If you wish to host an event please let Layania or Kinjita know so that we do not have event conflicts.
Those Jedi who choose not to attend a Council meeting may run an event instead.

So lets give this new system a try and see how it goes. There may be some bugs but I am sure we can smooth those out, so again I ask that we give this a try before making criticisms or rash judgments please.
