Solitude, yet family.
We are not alone. While we are all individuals, we work together as one for the benefit of all.

Self, yet duty.
Selfishness is difficult to avoid. We all want things for ourselves. But remember that our duty is to watch out for the good of our fellows outweighs selfish needs.

Emotion, yet control.
Everyone has emotions. We are living beings and in order to grow, one of the things we must do is feel. Yet, when our passions overwhelm our good sense, we take the first steps on a dark path that will forever stain our souls. Control is our only defense against the temptation to use emotion as a crutch to build up ego, personal goals over that of others, and feel false righteousness in doing so.

Violence, yet order.
The universe is in chaos. Animals prey upon animals. Stars explode, are born, and die. Galaxies slowly collide. And cultures become at odds with one another. There will always be conflict; yet there is an underlying order to the seeming madness. For without change, there is no growth. Without change there is no end to either conflict or peace.

In war, we must seek a peaceful balance. In times of war, seek peaceful reserve. When the time of conflict is past, let peaceful action remain. Respect for your enemy is respect for yourself.

Death, yet sacrifice.
In life, death happens. Rare are the times when we can control our own passing. But when we do, when death is unavoidable, there can be no greater act than to sacrifice for others.

Unity in the Force
At the end of one’s time, there is unity and peace within the Force. But this is merely the reflection of the truth: the Force flows through all things as the Living Force, and knits the stars into galaxies via the Unifying Force.
